It’s very nice to meet you too, Miss Santamaria. How are you liking the school so far?
Hi there Tori. Yep, Eli Goldsworthy is the name. Aren’t you a freshman at Degrassi?

Hi Eli!
Hello Fiona. How’s your day going?

Eli tossed his empty suitcase on the floor near the side of his bed. He knew it wouldn’t really help his hoarding problem, but he didn’t mind at the time. He pulled a black jacket out of his new closet and grabbed his keys off the counter, along with his phone. He’d told Imogen that he would meet…
Imogen was in her usual cheerful mood as she put on her red jacket, took her glasses off and put her contacts in. She smiled at herself in the mirror before putting on her hat. It wasn’t too cold outside but it wasn’t that warm either so she decided to play it safe. She grabbed her keys, her phone and her wallet shoving them into her pocket locking the door behind her. She noticed a familiar looking boy from his tumblr page on the bench looking around. She walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. “Eli?” She questioned, looking into his bright eyes. “I’m Imogen. Pleased to finally meet you face to face.” She smiled brightly.
Eli glanced up at the girl standing above him, and he smiled at her. It was almost impossible not to. She looked beautiful — not because she had a nice body or shimmering hair, but because she looked unique. At Eli’s old school, most of the girls had dressed in the sluttiest outfits and wore a disgusting amount of makeup. But this girl seemed creative, and Eli was intrigued to know more about her from the get-go. “Hey Imogen, I’m Eli; I’m assuming you already knew that.” He stood up and shook her hand.
Imogen pushed her hair over her shoulder shaking his hand back. “I did, your kind of not hard to miss, your really unique looking.” She laughed slightly at how awkward she was being. Imogen was wearing her jeans but these had patches of different color flowers on them. Her jacket was purple, which never really matched anything she ever wore but that was okay. She watched him for a few seconds, noticing his smile. “You have a pretty smile” she stated matter-of-factly. “Let’s go get that coffee, it’s chilly out here.” she smiled, pushing her hands into her pockets standing beside him waiting for him.
“Why, thank you,” Eli responded, starting to follow her towards the cafe. “I could say the same about you.” He grinned again and held the door open for her as they entered. The cafe was peaceful and serene, a small place with a comfortable feel. “This is a nice little place,” Eli commented as he walked towards the front counter. He read the menu, deciding he would get a chocolate frappucino. “What are you thinking of getting?” He asked.
“More then likely a iced coffee with caramel.” Imogen pushed her hair over her shoulder. “What about yourself?” She smiled softly, looking around the place walking up towards the counter, turning towards Eli. She stepped up and ordered for herself, as he ordered she smiled and paid the man. As they grabbed their coffee, they found a table close to the corner so they could talk. She smiled, taking her jacket off. “So, tell me about yourself Eli.” she smiled again briskly.
“I’m gonna go for the chocolate frappucino,” Eli replied. He paid for his coffee and sat down in the chair across from Imogen. “Well, I guess there’s not much to tell.” He knew that was a lie, but he didn’t feel like dumping his crappy history on someone he had just met. “I went to a high school about half an hour from here. I had a few friends. Managed to get good grades. I was never really into sports much, but the one thing I did love was the drama club. It was the one place at school where the majority of kids weren’t mindless retards.” He smirked and took a sip of his coffee. “And you?”
“I was a writer and an actress in school, had a few friends didn’t really like it much truly. I’d rather be in a theater, acting, writing, being married to a theater then deal with mindless morons. Especially boys. Ick.” Imogen laughed quietly, smiling at him as she took a sip of her drink. “I mean, im not judging you based on the high school ones whatsoever.” She smiled quickly.
Eli chuckled. “I know what you mean,” he admitted. “The boys at my high school were some pretty huge jerks. I hope they can find something good to do with their lives at some point.” He rolled his eyes and sipped his coffee. “So what made you decide to come to this school? I came here because of their excellent drama program, as a matter of fact.”
“Same here, matter of factly.” Imogen laughed leaning back into her chair, crossing her legs over eachother. “I believe thats what drew me in, how amazing this program is. I’m in love with it honestly.” Imogen took a sip of her coffee, setting it back on the table and smiled at the man across the table.
Eli smiled back at Imogen. “It is, I’ve heard many great things about it,” he admitted. As he finished his coffee, he sat up and leaned his elbows on the table. “Well, other than drama, what other classes or programs have you enrolled in?” He gave her a curious look.
“Journalism, something to do with chemistry, A few math classes. The usual brains I suppose.” Imogen smiled and watched him carefully, he seemed quite relaxed around her and she loved that. She pushed her hair around her shoulder and smiled briskly at him. “What about you Sir?” She gave him a friendly smile looking into his eyes.
“Journalism is quite interesting,” Eli replied. “I’m also into writing, reading, literature, comics…math is alright too, I guess,” he said, chuckling. He loved Imogen’s bright and positive attitude; he’d only known her for a few minutes, but he already had been won over by her smile. “I hope we have some classes together,” he said, smiling back again.
